Drug Companies – Too Much Influence?

In 2007, an international marketing firm which monitors the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries reported global sales in drugs generated at least $640 billion the previous year. One report indicates that U.S. drug companies spent more than $11 billion on promotion of its products to American doctors and hospitals.
